Vakkio

Home energy intelligence that anticipates — and acts.

Vakkio is the studio's energy project: a platform that understands a home's consumption, solar production and devices, and turns that data into decisions — and into actions — that genuinely save.

Vakkio started from a simple frustration: energy dashboards show a lot and change almost nothing. Nearly all of them tell you how much you spend; hardly any do something about it. We wanted the opposite — a system that reads the whole house (the fiscal meter, the solar inverter, the plugs, the appliances and the weather) and, from there, predicts, warns in time and acts on its own.

That last word is the one that matters to us. Vakkio doesn't stop at the chart: it forecasts tomorrow's solar production, catches anomalies before they reach the bill, reads utility bills with AI to cost each period against its real tariff, and — when there's surplus sun — puts it to work by switching on the air conditioners by priority, with a control loop designed not to go haywire every time a cloud passes. From "here's your consumption" to "I've already handled it."

It's also our testbed. Here the technology is our own call: a local-first architecture with an agent at home and the cloud only where it pays off, AI to read documents (Mainly energy bills) and reason over data, and a design system of our own. What we sharpen in Vakkio — IoT integration, reliable telemetry, forecasting, automation with judgment — is what we later bring to our clients' projects. It isn't an experiment or a side project: it's sustained practice, with a name and a purpose.
