Cookies policy
Last updated: July 2026
This cookie policy explains what cookies are, which ones we use on woobik.com, for what purpose and how you can manage them or withdraw your consent at any time. This document has been drawn up in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy) and the guidelines of the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali on cookies (Provvedimento of 10 June 2021).
1.What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on the user's device (computer, tablet or mobile) when they visit them. They allow the site to remember information about the visit, such as the preferred language or consent preferences, and they also serve to obtain usage statistics. There are similar technologies (such as local storage) to which the same principles apply.
2.Types of cookies
Cookies can be classified according to different criteria:
- By ownership: first-party (managed by the owner of the Site) or third-party (managed by external entities, such as Google).
- By purpose: technical or necessary (essential for the operation of the Site), functional or preference cookies (which remember your choices) and analytics or measurement cookies (which allow the use of the Site to be analysed in aggregate form).
- By duration: session cookies (deleted when the browser is closed) or persistent cookies (which remain for a specified period).
3.Cookies we use
| Name | Ownership | Type | Purpose | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
wbk_session | First-party | Technical | Maintain the user's session (only in the administration area) | Session | Not required |
wbk_locale | First-party | Functional | Remember the selected language | 1 year | Not required |
wb_consent | First-party | Technical | Store your choice regarding analytics cookies | 1 year | Not required |
_ga, _ga_* | Google Ireland Ltd | Analytics | Google Analytics: statistical measurement of visits with anonymised IP | 2 years | Required |
Technical and functional cookies are necessary for the proper operation of the Site and do not require consent, in accordance with the applicable legislation. Third-party analytics cookies are only installed if you give your consent.
4.Consent and legal basis
When you first access the Site, a cookie banner is displayed that allows you to accept or reject analytics cookies. Until you give your express consent, no analytics cookie is installed and Google Analytics is not activated. The legal basis for the use of analytics cookies is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); the basis for technical cookies is the legitimate interest in the operation of the Site.
We use Google Consent Mode v2: by default, analytics storage is denied and is only enabled when you expressly accept.
5.How to manage or withdraw your consent
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. When you do, the banner will be shown again so that you can decide anew:
6.How to disable cookies from your browser
You can also configure or disable cookies directly from your browser settings:
Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the proper operation of some parts of the Site.
7.Third-party cookies and transfers
Analytics cookies are managed by Google Ireland Ltd. Processing is carried out with anonymised IP and without remarketing purposes. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards provided for by the GDPR. For more information, please consult the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses cookies.
8.Further information
For more information on how we process your personal data, please consult our Privacy Policy. If you have any questions, write to us at admin@woobik.com.
9.Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use or for legal, operational or technical reasons. We recommend that you review it periodically to stay informed about the use of cookies.
